DANIELLE + CHESTER | HYALITE CANYON PORTRAITS

When I tell people that I live in Montana, the first question I get is “how do you deal with the cold”?

The short answer is I play outside often, I drink way more hot chocolate and red wine than any person should, and I own a lot of throw blankets.

The long answer? I don’t think it takes a special person to love the cold as much as it takes a special mindset. Everything is a matter of perspective. The sun still shines on the coldest days, and there is warmth to be found if you know where to look. Winter is temporary. Summer is coming. Embrace where you are.

And of course, always have a buddy.
